From first call through the completion of the job, we give White Mechanical the highest marks.
Brent did what he could to get our 30+ year old system up and running, but we finally agreed a replacement was in order. I checked out his proposal with a friend in the HVAC business outside the area who agreed with the diagnosis of the problems, gave high marks to the equipment recommendations, and said the cost was very reasonable.
Brent was prompt responding to our calls, clear in his explanations of problems and solutions, and went out of his way to minimize our inconvenience. By his comments and his actions, he made it clear that customer satisfaction was a top priority.
Brent and Julio did a first-class job installing the new system. They were courteous throughout, worked diligently, explained what they were doing, and left the place spotless.

Five stars!!! My home warranty company said my heater problem was the zone control board, which is not covered. White Mechanical was hired for providing the second opinion. Charlie carefully tested everything and found the problem, which was the furnace circuit board and should be covered by the home warranty. During the long and painful arguments with the home warranty company, Charlie patiently explained to me how he reached the conclusion and also rewrote the diagnostic with more details. Finally, the home warranty agreed to fix the furnace. Thank you, White Mechanical. They did much more than they were expected to!

Thanks for your follow up Renee ! We are quite diligent about replacing filters and so we didn't see the need for a service to perform the job. We have changed our filters every 6 months, but will monitor the new system's filters every 3 months for a while to get a feel for the optimal replacement time.
The install crew under Brent's leadership was absolutely fantastic. Brent, Abraham, Steven, and a couple of other guys I didn't get a chance to meet were such pro's, very informative, and so careful with everything. I really felt bad for a couple of them having to carry this big, heavy, dirty furnace unit down the stairs and through the house and they did it without touching walls, rails, furniture etc ! Brent's job with the condenser unit is a really pro job and I can tell by looking he's a real perfectionist ......... takes one to know one ! Great crew all around !
The system is working perfectly and is a real change from the old system. It is a joy to have it working so quietly in the background. The real test will come this weekend as the weather heats up. I'm SO glad to have gotten this project done before that happened ! I do look forward to discussing the next project with Tom when he has a chance.
